Bitter Sweet Salad - Heart Chakra

Bitter Sweet Salad (Heart Chakra)

For Salad
  • 2 Firm Bosc Pears sliced
  • 1 Handful Green Grapes halved
  • 4 Medium Leaves of Kale (stems removed and shreddded)
  • 1C Baby Spinach
  • 1/2 Cup Dandelion Leaves (torn)
  • 1tblsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
Massage Oil and Salt into Kale and Dandelion 'til wilted. Mix in with Spinach, Pears and grapes.

Dressing
  • 3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp of Maple Syrup (or honey)
  • 6Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Clove Garlic
  •  1/3C Fresh squeezed green apple juice
Blend all together until smooth drizzle over salad

* just a note sage was one of the herbs recommended for the Heart Chakra - a few leaves of broad leaf sage make a wonderful tea. Minty tasting and helps you sleep. Just brew water as usual throw in 2 or 3 leaves to a cup and let brew about 5 to 10 minutes. Nice sweetened with a little honey.
