Inspiration

THE MENTORS:

Below are a group of people who inspire me... I'll keep adding to the list in no particular order.

David and Katrina Rainosheck

What can I say these people changed my life. I'm so grateful I stumbled on their website a few years ago. My first thoughts were juice for 92 days that is insane - how wrong I was. How much I learned! Their pay site btw is worth every penny. I'm so glad I went down the path David pointed me to through his site.

Dan Macdonald

Angela Stokes

Angela lost 160lbs eating a raw food diet. One of the raw food world superstars. This prune video I watched I don't know how many times when I was coming off my own juice feast. She is the woman who inspired me to try.

Matt Monarch Angela's husband and host of the "Raw Food World" (with Angela) aired on-line. Here they are talking about hitting rock bottom... you guys just rock period.

Philip McCluskey
What can I say about Philip. A gentle soul who is just kind of great. Here see for yourself.

Gabriel Cousins MD
David Rain's mentor long time nutritionist and master faster.

Woody Harrelson  The man who made it cool :)

Renee Loux

My first raw preparation book is by Renee Loux. Her recipes are amazing!

The Boutenko Family

Pioneers of the green smoothie movement. All of the Boutenkos over came illness by switching to a raw food diet.

Bodyrock - Zuzana

I found Zuzana's on youtube about 2 years ago. She has a great website called bodyrock.tv - chock full free at home workouts - just looking at her is inspirational (don't judge her by the skimpy outfits ladies) - check out her figure and you'll know this girl knows how to keep in shape and she'll show you how she does it. Look for her coffee talks in addition to her workouts she has some great tips and advice for how to modify her moves and how to just keep at it. Her boyfriend Freddy helps her with the workouts and the site - I've really enjoyed following them and watching her and the site evolve over time.

THE BOOKS

A list of books that have helped me on my journey to better health.

Diet for a New America by John Robbins
If you are thinking about becoming a vegetarian or vegan pick this book up first. After reading it for me - and for several other people I've spoken to there was just no going back. If you want to truly wake up to what is being done to our food supply read this book.
"Diet For A New America - How Your Food Choices Affect Your Health, Happiness, and the Future of Life on Earth, is widely considered to be one of the most influential books on health, compassion, and the environment ever written in the English language. It has sold more than 1,000,000 copies, and at the turn of the century, it was heralded as among the ten most important books of the 20th century by numerous organizations working for a joyous, fair, and sustainable world."

The China Study by Colin Cambell
